INTRODUCTION
There is a major difference between the cultivation or growing of green
plants and mushroom growing. While the green plants are equipped with
chlorophyll for getting the supplements they require for growth, mushrooms
don't contain chlorophyll which makes them reliant on getting their food from
other plant materials. The principle body of the mushroom is comprised of
the mycelium, which are the little roots which develop on the plant material
(the substrate) through which they get their necessary nutrients. Mushrooms
are known to flourish when grown alongside plant materials.
It is wise that one who is anticipating going into the growing of mushrooms
