> Hein Holt on the keys: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Being influenced by the first dynasty of computermusicians like Rob Hubbard, Martin Galway and M.O.N. I started doing modules in the late eighties and I listened a lot to Jeroen Tel's compositions and copied a whole lot of him. The "Can't be" tune in my dir is a direct copy of Jeroen's Rubicon c64 tune. He wasn't to fond of my copy actually, but then again life is a bitch. Concerning the Tracker musicians, Heatbeat is in my opinion the king of 'm all. He's one of the few who just makes music the way he wants it, with strange and sometimes radicale compositions that nobody understands. My passion for real music lies within the boundaries of classical (John Williams, Wagner, Beethoven) and fusion. (Miles Davis, Jacco Pastorius, Mahavishnu Orchestra) I shouldn't forget to mention Frank Zappa who dared things only he understood. Because my passion for music lies way ahead of the things I know about music, I hardly compose music lately. (Especially composing tunes on a computer that can't swing and has only four channels is just to ridiculous to worry about.) Maybe someday when I got enough time and money I'll compose some new tunes using MIDI or so. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Thanks Hein! ;)
