General Instructions
Printing the model sheets
All gifs are approximately 50kb and 826x1169 pixels in size.
For PDF's Print 'fit to page', 100% (100dpi), or 98% (100dpi) for true 1:100 scale.
Do not print the model sheets from your browser.
Building a KUBE
STAGE 1 : Start by cutting out the pieces, scoring along the lines and folding the flaps as shown.
STAGE 2 : Glue the main strip to form a hoop, insert the larger tabs of the octagonal piece into the hoop leaving the
smaller tabs on the outside. When both octagonal pieces have been inserted into the hoop glue the paper where the
tabs fit inside the hoop. Do
NOT
glue the short tabs that fit outside the hoop.
STAGE 3 : After the glue has dried, fold the shorter tabs upwards. Insert a pin into the gap between the short tabs
and the hoop and run it along, this is to enlarge the gap so that the tabs on the top and bottom pieces can be
inserted.
STAGE 4 : Cut out, score and fold the top and bottom pieces, glue the flaps to their opposite edge to form the
shapes shown. Fold the large flaps in towards the center, leave the short flaps sticking out as shown. Insert the flaps
on the top and bottom pieces into the slots made in the section with the hoop.
BEFORE
gluing the top and bottom
pieces, ensure that the strut mounts are located in their correct positions. The last two images show the correct
arrangement. When all the faces are in the correct orientation, glue the edges together, you should now have a
KUBE.
Building a CABIN
The cabin is built is the same way as the KUBE. Simply follow the diagrams below.
STAGE 1 : Cut out, score and fold the peices. There are four peices to glue, The very top and bottom, the lower
middle hoop and the upper middle conical hoop.
STAGE 2 : Insert and glue ONLY the LARGE flaps of the end caps onto the lower middle hoop.
STAGE 3 : Fold back the SMALL flaps on the end caps, insert pin into the gap and run it along to make the gap
bigger.
STAGE 4 : After folding the LARGE flaps out of the way on the very bottom piece and upper middle conical hoop,
insert the SMALL flaps into the gaps made in stage 3.
BEFORE
gluing into place ensure that the strut mounts are
correctly orientated on the very bottom piece. Refer to the KUBE section for the correct arrangement. When all the
faces are in the correct orientation, glue the edges together.
STAGE 5 : Insert and glue ONLY the LARGE flaps of the upper end cap onto the upper conical section.
STAGE 6 : Fold back the SMALL flaps on the upper end cap, insert pin into gap and run it along to make the gap
bigger.
STAGE 7 : After folding the LARGE flaps out of the way on the very top piece, insert and glue the SMALL flaps.
STAGE 8 : Cut out, score, fold and glue the screen. Glue the screen onto the conical section at the place provided.
cabin FINISHED.
Building a MODULE

leaving the smaller tabs on the outside. When both octagonal pieces have been inserted into the cylinder glue the
paper where the tabs fit inside the cylinder. Do
NOT
glue the short tabs that fit outside the cylinder.
STAGE 3 : After the glue has dried, fold the shorter tabs upwards. Insert a pin into the gap between the short tabs
and the cylinder and run it along, this is to enlarge the gap so that the tabs on the top and bottom pieces can be
inserted.
STAGE 4 : Cut out, score and fold the top and bottom pieces, glue the flaps to their opposite edge to form the
shapes shown. Fold the large flaps in towards the center, leave the short flaps sticking out as shown. Insert the flaps
on the top and bottom pieces into the slots made in the section with the cylinder.

a MODULE.
Building a WHEEL
STAGE 1 : The wheel is built using 4 parts, a wheel rim, a rim connector and 2 star shaped wheel halves. You must
first make the rim by joining the two ends together using the rim connector. The 2 ends of the rim should meet and
should have a 12 segmentsfacing outwards.
STAGE 2 : Using the edge of a ruler fold the 6 tabs on one of the wheel halves at 90 degrees, and glue them one by
one to the rim leaving every other segment on the rim free.
STAGE 3 : Fold the 6 tabs on the other wheel halves in the same way, glue the tabs one by one to the segments still
visible.
STAGE 4 : using a pin, puncture the circles in the center of the wheels to form a hole, slightly wet the paper at the
hole and use the tip of a pen to make the hole circular. The hole should no larger than the size marked.
STAGE 5 : You need 2 wheels per axle. To make an axle with wheels cut out the axle pieces and roll into a long
cylinder
DO NOT GLUE.The
axle should be rolled to a diameter that can be easily fitted through the holes in the
wheels. When both wheels are on the axle, place 1 spot of glue to the center of the axle,
Do NOT Glue Along
The Entire Length.
Glue both wheels in place. The image below shows the desired result.
Building a DRIVE BLOCK
STAGE 1 : Start by cutting out the pieces, scoring along the lines and folding the flaps as shown.
STAGE 2 : Glue the main strip to form a cylinder, insert the larger tabs of the octagonal piece into the cylinder
leaving the smaller tabs on the outside. When both octagonal pieces have been inserted into the cylinder glue the
paper where the tabs fit inside the cylinder. Do
NOT
glue the short tabs that fit outside the cylinder.
STAGE 3 : After the glue has dried, fold the shorter tabs upwards. Insert a pin into the gap between the short tabs
and the cylinder and run it along, this is to enlarge the gap so that the tabs on the top and bottom pieces can be
inserted.

shapes shown. Fold the large flaps in towards the center, leave the short flaps sticking out as shown. Insert the flaps
