Spitfire Mk IX RR232 captured over the Needles, the
Isle of Wight with Matt Jones at the controls.
Delivered to the RAF as an HF.IX in 1944, the aircraft
passed through several owners as a project, it was
restored to flying condition in 2012 by current owner
Martin Phillips.
