About this course
This fully updated and revised edition provides
preparation and practice for candidates who are
preparing for the 2015
Cambridge English: First (FCE)
exam. The material also provides opportunities for
learners to develop their English on a broader level for
success in the real world beyond the exam.

Cambridge English: First (FCE)
is an upper-intermediate
level qualification targeted at level B2 on the CEFR
scale.
It
is proof that a candidate is becoming skilled
in English, and it is widely used by learners who
want to study, live, or work in an English-speaking
environment.

officially recognized by a number of
organizations around the world, including universities,

Revisions to the
Cambridge
English: First (FCE)
exam
for 2015 have been made to ensure that it continues
to meet the needs and expectations of candidates,
teachers, and other users. The revisions also reflect the
latest methodological approaches to communicative
language testing.
The revised
Cambridge
English: First (FCE)
exam for
2015 consists of four papers:
Reading and
Use
of English
(1 hour and 15
minutes)
Writing
(1 hour and 20 minutes)
Listening
(approx. 40 minutes)
Speaking
(approx. 14 minutes)
